5th Generation Tannoy Center Speaker in Attractive Dark Walnut Finish

Bigger cabinet, improved low-end vocals Now in its fifth generation, the Tannoy Mercury V range has once again been improved. In its latest incarnation, Tannoy has revised the cabinet, making it larger and better braced. The larger cabinet boosts low-end vocal response for more natural dialogue, while the improved bracing makes the cabinet more rigid, improving the neutrality of sound.

New drive units too Contained within the new cabinet are new drive units. The bass cones are lighter and more rigid than before, making the sound faster to respond and the mid-range more detailed. The treble unit has been changed, too, and now has exceptional accuracy at this price point. The crossover has been tweaked, and the internal cabling is silver-plated oxygen-free copper, usually the preserve of much more expensive speakers.

And a smart finish Finished in dark walnut, the Mercury VC is the perfect aesthetic match for the other Mercury V speakers. It also features the same silver trim and bass cones, giving the speaker added style should you choose to take the grille off.
