The C-8 is a substantial, serious loudspeaker. The cabinet is a tapered, front-ported 3-way vented design housing an aluminium dome tweeter with cloth suspension, flanked by two 20.3cm injection-moulded aluminium/polypropylene woofers with rubber surrounds and polypropylene diaphragms — driver materials that Energy chose for their stiffness-to-mass ratio and long-term stability.
