A compact, cleverly designed pair of Dolby Atmos enabled upfiring height speakers from Sony’s CS series, the SS-CSEM2 adds a genuine overhead dimension to any Dolby Atmos home theater system — in like-new condition.
The SS-CSEM2 works by reflecting sound off your ceiling to create convincing height-channel audio, turning a conventional 5.1 or 7.1 surround system into a fully immersive Dolby Atmos experience without requiring in-ceiling speaker installation. Each speaker houses a single 3.94-inch full-range driver in a sealed, solid wood cabinet engineered specifically for upfiring placement — the acoustic suspension enclosure provides tight, controlled bass response appropriate for height-channel duty, while the reinforced cellular cone driver delivers clean, distortion-free audio even at higher volume levels. Premium internal components including air-core inductors and high-grade film capacitors ensure signal purity throughout.
The compact footprint makes placement straightforward: simply set them on top of your existing front floor standing speakers or bookshelf speakers, angle them upward toward the ceiling, and connect to the Dolby Atmos height channel outputs on your AV receiver. Wall-mounting is also supported for front-high or side-high placement when ceiling reflection isn’t ideal.

Both drivers fire upward into spoon-shaped OMNIGUIDE reflectors, giving 360-degree dispersion with a deliberate forward bias. 70 Hz to 20 kHz, 89 dB, cast aluminum woofer baffle and butyl surrounds rather than foam. These are the original 7 lb version; the later revisions come in under five. Very good condition.
PSB VisionSound VS300 Aluminum On-Wall Speaker
An on-wall speaker engineered as one rather than adapted into one. It shares the tweeter, terminals and crossover of PSB's VS400 floorstander, but the port was moved to the front so the cabinet can sit flat to a wall without the wall changing what it does — and a rear switch selects NORMAL or ON-WALL, filling the 400 to 500 Hz dip that hard mounting creates. Extruded aluminium, built in Pickering, Ontario. Graded Excellent or Very Good; the only thing separating the two is a single Tic Tac-sized hole at the extreme edge of one grille frame.
