The RA-Mini is a compact Class D stereo amplifier from Radique Audio: 50 W per channel into 4 Ω (100 W total), for passive speakers of 4 to 8 Ω. It connects five ways (Bluetooth 5.0, RCA, 3.5 mm AUX, USB and microSD), runs cool and silent with no fan, works with active subwoofers through their high-level inputs, and comes in high gloss black or walnut with a 1-year warranty and a full online manual in English and French.

Bluetooth 5.0

Stream from your phone, tablet or computer, up to 12 m away. Your device’s volume slider controls the overall level.

RCA stereo

CD players, tuners, cassette decks, DACs, and turntables with a phono preamp. The RA-Mini has no phono stage of its own.

3.5 mm AUX

Computers, tablets and portable players: anything with a headphone or line output.

USB

Play MP3, WAV, FLAC, WMA or APE files straight from a flash drive (up to 64 GB).

microSD (TF) card

A standalone music player with the same lossless formats, and the lowest-noise digital source on the RA-Mini.

A DAC that sounds great

Digital sources run through a Jieli AC6926A processor: 95 dB+ signal-to-noise ratio and 20 Hz – 20 kHz response.

Choosing speakers

The RA-Mini drives passive (unpowered) speakers. It isn’t for powered, self-amplified speakers.

Impedance

4–8 Ω is ideal, and 3–10 Ω works. Outside that range, expect reduced performance or the thermal protection stepping in.

Sensitivity

Bookshelf and desktop speakers (85–92 dB) are an excellent match; floorstanders (88–95 dB) do well in small to medium rooms; below about 84 dB, bigger spaces may need more power.

Connections

Gold-plated 5-way binding posts take bare wire, spades, pins and banana plugs, including our gold-plated banana plugs.

Why Class D

Class D amplifiers are about 85–90% efficient, compared with 50–70% for Class AB. That’s why the RA-Mini runs cool, needs no fan, stays silent, and fits in your hand.

Add a subwoofer

Run the RA-Mini’s speaker outputs into an active subwoofer’s high-level inputs, then from the sub’s high-level outputs to your speakers. The sub’s crossover handles the bass. There’s no dedicated sub pre-out, which is typical at this size.

RA-Mini questions

Is the RA-Mini powerful enough for my speakers?

For most bookshelf and desktop speakers, yes: 50 W per channel into 4 Ω is plenty in small and medium rooms. Speakers rated 85 dB sensitivity or higher are the best match; below about 84 dB, a large room may need a bigger amp.

Can I connect a turntable?

Yes, if the turntable has a built-in phono preamp or you use a separate one. The RA-Mini has no phono stage, so connect through the RCA input.

Can I use it with powered speakers?

No. The RA-Mini is an amplifier for passive (unpowered) speakers, ideally 4–8 Ω.

Does it work with a subwoofer?

Yes, with active subwoofers that have high-level (speaker-level) inputs and outputs. Connect the RA-Mini to the sub’s high-level inputs and the sub’s outputs to your speakers.

How far does Bluetooth reach?

Up to 12 m with a clear line of sight. It reconnects to your paired device automatically, and your phone’s volume slider controls the overall level.

Does it get hot or make noise?

No. Class D efficiency means it runs cool with passive cooling and no fan, so it’s completely silent. Leave 5–8 cm (2–3 in) of clearance around it for airflow.

Is there a manual in French?

Yes. The full owner’s manual is online in English and French, with setup, troubleshooting and warranty details.
