- Dual degaussing rings against magnetic noise
- 7 mm gold cotton mesh jacket

No loose adapters, no crackle
A shielded stereo cable with a 1/4 in (6.35 mm) TRS plug at one end and a 1/8 in (3.5 mm) TRS plug at the other, so no adapter sits in the signal path.
The short answer
The Radique Audio Gold Series 1/4 to 1/8 in TRS cable is 1 m (39 in) of stereo cable with a 1/4 in (6.35 mm) TRS plug at one end and a 1/8 in (3.5 mm) TRS plug at the other. Inside, 262 tinned copper strands sit under a 128-strand braided copper shield and aluminum foil, with dual degaussing rings for magnetic noise; outside, gold-plated plugs and a 7 mm gold cotton mesh jacket.
Gold and Black Series at a glance
Gold Series is our shielded line: six layers of construction around tinned copper, a gold cotton mesh jacket and gold-plated plugs. Black Series is the entry line: well made, and priced to replace the cable that came in the box.
| Cable | Connects | Length | Build |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gold Series 3.5 mm to dual RCA | Phone, laptop or Bluetooth receiver to an RCA input | 1.2 m | Braided + foil shield, degaussing ring |
| Black Series 3.5 mm to dual RCA | The same job, at an entry price | 1.8 m | Braided mesh over a flexible jacket |
| Gold Series 1/4 to 1/8 in TRS (this one) | A 1/4 in (6.35 mm) jack to a 3.5 mm jack, stereo | 1 m | Braided + foil shield, dual degaussing rings |
| Gold Series RCA interconnect | Component to component, stereo | 0.2, 0.75 or 1.5 m | Braided + foil shield, slim vintage-safe plugs |
| Gold Series single RCA | Digital coax, or a preamp to a power amp | 0.2 m (8 in) | Braided + foil shield, slim plugs |
| Gold Series subwoofer cable | Sub or LFE output to a subwoofer | 2, 3, 5 or 10 m | Braided + foil shield, dual degaussing rings |
| Gold Series subwoofer Y-splitter | One sub cable to a dual-RCA input or output | 0.2 m (8 in) | Reinforced 3-element splitter |
| Black Series optical (Toslink) | TV, console or player to a soundbar, receiver or DAC | 1 or 2 m | Moulded strain relief, braided mesh |
What makes it better
Stereo at both ends
TRS plugs at both ends carry left and right, where a mono cable or a cheap adapter drops a channel or crackles.
No adapter in the way
One cable from a 1/4 in jack to a 3.5 mm jack: nothing to wiggle loose.
Shielded against noise
A 128-strand braided copper shield, aluminum foil and dual degaussing rings keep hum and hiss out.
Six layers of construction
Tinned copper conductors, moisture-resistant PE insulation, aluminum foil, a 128-strand braided copper shield, a supple PVC jacket and a braided gold cotton mesh outside, 7 mm across.
Flexible, and good to handle
The gold cotton mesh is more flexible than nylon or PVC, so it routes behind a rack without kinks or stiffness.
Where it’s useful
Vintage amps, studio gear, cassette decks, AV receivers, CD players, DACs and Bluetooth receivers.

Questions we get about this one
What is it for?
Connecting a device with a 1/4 in stereo jack to one with a 3.5 mm stereo jack: a 3.5 mm source into a 1/4 in input, or a 1/4 in output into a 3.5 mm input.
Is it stereo?
Yes: TRS (tip, ring, sleeve) at both ends carries left and right.
Need RCA instead?
For a 3.5 mm source into RCA inputs, see the Gold Series 3.5 mm to dual RCA.
What warranty does it have?
A 1-year warranty, like every Radique Audio product: if it fails under normal use within the year, we replace it at no charge. See our warranty FAQ.
What does shipping cost? Is pickup possible?
Pickup in Kanata is free, by appointment. To have it shipped, add it to your cart and enter your city and postal code on the cart page: you’ll see live carrier rates before you commit.
