For the jobs a dual cable can’t do
Eight inches of single RCA cable: a coaxial digital output into a DAC or receiver, or a preamp to a power amp whose channels sit at opposite ends of the chassis.
The short answer
The Radique Audio Gold Series single RCA cable is 0.2 m (8 in) of single RCA to single RCA cable, for stacked components. It has the same six-layer Gold Series construction as our other cables: tinned copper inside aluminum foil and a 128-strand braided copper shield, a PVC jacket and a braided gold cotton mesh, 7 mm across, with gold-plated plugs in narrow alloy jackets that fit where standard RCAs won’t.
Gold and Black Series at a glance
Gold Series is our shielded line: six layers of construction around tinned copper, a gold cotton mesh jacket and gold-plated plugs. Black Series is the entry line: well made, and priced to replace the cable that came in the box.
| Cable | Connects | Length | Build |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gold Series 3.5 mm to dual RCA | Phone, laptop or Bluetooth receiver to an RCA input | 1.2 m | Braided + foil shield, degaussing ring |
| Black Series 3.5 mm to dual RCA | The same job, at an entry price | 1.8 m | Braided mesh over a flexible jacket |
| Gold Series 1/4 to 1/8 in TRS | A 1/4 in (6.35 mm) jack to a 3.5 mm jack, stereo | 1 m | Braided + foil shield, dual degaussing rings |
| Gold Series RCA interconnect | Component to component, stereo | 0.2, 0.75 or 1.5 m | Braided + foil shield, slim vintage-safe plugs |
| Gold Series single RCA (this one) | Digital coax, or a preamp to a power amp | 0.2 m (8 in) | Braided + foil shield, slim plugs |
| Gold Series subwoofer cable | Sub or LFE output to a subwoofer | 2, 3, 5 or 10 m | Braided + foil shield, dual degaussing rings |
| Gold Series subwoofer Y-splitter | One sub cable to a dual-RCA input or output | 0.2 m (8 in) | Reinforced 3-element splitter |
| Black Series optical (Toslink) | TV, console or player to a soundbar, receiver or DAC | 1 or 2 m | Moulded strain relief, braided mesh |
What makes it better
Digital coax
Connect a CD or DVD player’s coaxial digital output to a DAC, processor or AV receiver.
Pre to power, one channel at a time
When a power amp’s left and right inputs are too far apart for a dual cable, use two singles.
Slim plugs
Narrow alloy jackets fit cramped back panels and closely spaced jacks.
Shielded
Aluminum foil and braided copper shields keep the background quiet.
Flexible, and good to handle
The gold cotton mesh is more flexible than nylon or PVC, so it routes behind a rack without kinks or stiffness.
Short and tidy
Eight inches is right for stacked components, with no loops of spare cable.

Questions we get about this one
Can you use it for digital coax?
Yes: it connects a coaxial digital (S/PDIF) output to a coaxial input on a DAC, processor or receiver.
Why not a dual cable?
Some power amps have their left and right inputs at opposite ends of the chassis. Two single cables reach where one dual cable can’t.
Need it longer?
For a single RCA run of 2 to 10 m, see the Gold Series subwoofer cable.
What warranty does it have?
A 1-year warranty, like every Radique Audio product: if it fails under normal use within the year, we replace it at no charge. See our warranty FAQ.
What does shipping cost? Is pickup possible?
Pickup in Kanata is free, by appointment. To have it shipped, add it to your cart and enter your city and postal code on the cart page: you’ll see live carrier rates before you commit. We ship across Canada and internationally. Buying it with one of our pre-owned speakers or components? Then it rides along in the same order at no extra shipping cost.
Do you ship to the United States?
Yes. On Radique Audio products we add the US import duties and fees at checkout and prepay them for you, so there’s nothing to pay at delivery.
Not sure which cable you need?
Tell us what you’re connecting to what, and we’ll tell you the cable, the length, or whether you need one at all.
