What it is

House CCA is our entry-level conductor — copper-clad aluminum in the familiar red-and-black jacket. It is the sensible choice for everyday hi-fi and home theatre where the money is better spent elsewhere in the system. Clean, reliable, and honest about what it is.

Why bare wire

Bare wire is the most universal termination there is. It goes into any binding post, any spring clip, any screw terminal, without an adaptor and without a compromise. If your amplifier and your speakers disagree about what connector they want, bare wire ends the argument.

Ten feet per cable gives most people enough slack to move the furniture without restringing the system.

How it is built

Every joint and every termination is heat-shrink reinforced and colour-coordinated, so polarity stays obvious at both ends of a dark equipment rack. The splits and end segments are reinforced against the handling that eventually kills lesser cable.
