Radique House CCA Cables, 10 ft Pair — Pin to Small Spade

A matched ten-foot pair of our House CCA speaker cable, hand-assembled in Ottawa, with Radique Audio pin connectors at one end and small spade (fork) connectors at the other.

What it is

House CCA is our entry-level conductor: copper-clad aluminum in the familiar red-and-black jacket. It is the sensible choice for everyday hi-fi and home theatre, where the money is better spent elsewhere in the system. Clean, reliable, and honest about what it is.

Why pins and small spades

Some vintage amplifiers and speakers have binding posts too small to accept a full-size spade connector. The small spades on this pair, also called forks, are sized for #10 (M5, 5 mm) posts and studs, made for exactly those terminals: they slip around the post and tighten down to a firm, flat contact where a larger fork simply will not fit. The Radique Audio pin connectors at the other end are made for spring-clip and guillotine terminals, where bare wire frays and works loose, and the pin flexes rather than sitting rigid, so it does not lever on an older terminal. Between them, the pair connects two pieces of vintage gear with no bare wire at either end.

Ten feet per cable gives most people enough slack to move the furniture without restringing the system.

How it is built

The small spades are crimped directly onto the cable, secured with the connector’s own integrated heat-shrink, then sealed again above that with our colour-coordinated heat-shrink. The result is a secure connection with polarity that is easy to follow at both ends of a dark equipment rack. The pin connectors are our own Radique Audio flexible pins, in red and black, and every termination and joint is heat-shrink reinforced against the handling that eventually kills lesser cable.

Two Radique hook-and-loop cable straps are included to keep the pair tidy.
